Hi just asking can I use my monitor from my computer? I have a laptop that im using more then my desktop one and the monitor is a wide flat screen.Do I still need to go through my computer still what cables do I need too if I can? Sorry but im new too this all.Trying too let my family have the tv more lol. Thanks

either have a rca to 3.5mm male adapter and plug it into your mic port or have a rca to 3.5mm female adapter and plug it into your speakers directly

For digital audio connections, select only stereo or surround formats compatible with your system. For digital surround sound from DVD movies, select the appropriate surround format from the options presented in each DVD's audio menu. For games and movies, play Dolby Digital audio only on audio systems that support Dolby Digital, and play DTS audio only on systems that support DTS.
