No there was no mistake in the number haha! I recently bought a pallet of 1350 20gb hard drives from a wholesale. Same place I buy pallets of RROD consoles. This time I wanted to try something different and to be honest its totaly new to me.

I had to test all these hard drives, see if they work, and etc etc!

Here are the issues I am running into.

There is about 40% HDD's that are completly bad. They make clicking noise, grind, whistle and all kinds of wierd noises. Those can't be fixed and they have been put to the side.

Now I have about 20% fully functioning hard drives that work, peoples profiles on them, and etc. I format them and put them to the side.

Then I have the other 40% that don't make noise at all. They spin like a hard drive is suppose to but when I hook them up to my 360, it says "No device found". I have a transfer cable. I managed to plug them into my computer and run HDD Regenerator. I found couple bad sectors, ran throught the drive twice until there are no bad sectors and they work like a charm.

I ran into some hard drives that show up on my jtag but not on my regular meaning someone formated them incorrectly and probably got rid of the hddss.bin. Is there any way to fix these without tearing them out of their cases. Can I connect the usb transfer cable and put the hddss.bin on them or are they scrap?

I also found some that say "Bad boot sector" and I have no idea if those are even fixable or not. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I have spare change to buy some software if it will help me out just let me know.

Anyways here are some pics incase you think im full of crap =)
