i have it mirrored here: http://xbehome.com/xbox/

you can also download the site here http://xbehome.com/xbox/xbox_file_deletions.rar to mirror it elsewhere or even view it locally on your PC

as for activity here, who would have thought an xbox forum would be less active 5 years after the console was discontinued tongue.gif

Since a related thread exists...

I recently ripped Star Wars Battlefront 2 to my HDD, with Dvd2Xbox. Is there anything I can delete from this particular game?

It hadn't been playable in a while due to scratches, but after cleaning the Xbox laser, I was able to get it transferred with the above mentioned app.

these files can generally always be deleted:

/dashupdate.xbe
/downloader.xbe
/update.xbe
/cdx.xbe
/cdxmedia/
/demos/

beyond that you just have to try it and see for yourself, look in videos folders, if you see several files with the same basic name but _NTSC on the some and _PAL on others you can usually delete the PAL ones (assuming NTSC xbox) same for language files in video and audio directory, _EN is english, the most common others youll see are _ES (spanish) _FR (french) and _DE (german) and they can usually be deleted

if you have trouble reading the disc make sure you make a separate copy of the files before deleting, in case any cause a DDE
