Got out my old Xbox looking to play some old games.
Its been off for the last year or more since I've been using my laptop to watch videos instead of XBMC.
Haven't played games on it for years.
Looks like the DVD drive is no longer working, it wont read anything, not even original M$ disks.
Got some old HDs laying around in the 80-160GB range.
Looking to upgrade my original HD in my Xbox, so I can play some of my old games off of backup.
It's got an xecuter chip in it. From like way back. But it was a Pro, want to say 2.3. I know its got two banks.
I haven't looked at this stuff for so long I was just over whelmed trying to figure out the best way to do it.

So in my situation, whats the easiest way to upgrade the HD with out a working DVD?

Thanks
Britt

Xbox hdm would probably be the easiest way I suggest you look into that. Wrong section by the way.

Well again I'm way behind the curve.

Thanks for the pointer.

So where should I post my HardDrive question, sounds like hardware modding to me ?
