i need some help installing LED's on the xbox. im using a strip of LED's link of what im using here: http://www.maplin.co.uk/dc-12-v-led-strip-218015

i need to know where i can solder on the motherboard and what i will need to do this.

Since the LEDs you are 12v, the best option would be to run them straight off the PSU. You can either splice into the cable running to the hard drive, run another cable from the leads, or get a molex splitter.
