Is there a mod out there to replace a DVD drive with a Blu Ray drive?(in the original Xbox)?

Short answer: No.
Even if you could somehow plug one into an xbox, theres no way for the xbox to recognise it as a BD. Also the xbox barely has the processing power to handle full HD movies.
So yeah, the answer is unfortunately no.
