I bought a new Falcon Jtag from beasty54 which arrived today.

Communication was excellent and delivery was prompt and I could track the package as soon as he sent it.

The parcel was well wrapped and instructions such as flashing the nand were presented clearly inside.

I would have no hesitation in buying from beasty54 again.

Hi beasty54 can you update the firmware on my jtag please? I noticed you were in Boston I live 5 miles from there but I can also visit Lincoln as we go there most weeks, I am unable to play the latest games, it has not been updated since I purchased it last year.

Just got my slim RGH'd by Beasty - great, swift, considerate communication along with updates on any progress or points that needed checking. Most importantly, a 100% working mod which should now be a million times more stable than my old Falcon JTAG (which has yet again got a failed gpu). Very quick work too. All in all, I'd recommend anyone to use this fella for any work they need done, especially if it's a RGH

If anyone is in interested in running a dual NAND setup, please feel free to ask. Cygnos chips would only be ordered upon request so wait times would be much longer.

I'm no longer installing Freestyle dash, dashlaunch, or any other software as part of my service. At least half of my customers are coming back complaining of faults such as no more booting to FSD simply because they have either formatted the hard drive, swapped it for a new one or moved/renamed a folder. I'm not saying this is always the case, sometimes there are problems with freeboot and so on but 99% of the time its down to the fact the user has changed something by accident somewhere down the line.

While i do try and make myself available pretty much any time to help, i really need to ask any potential customers to do a bit of research on FSD and dashlaunch before asking for the RGH mod, its not something you should be having done if you have no intention of reading up on how to work the machine. As much as i'd love to be sat at my PC all day to help with EVERYTHING, i just don't have time to explain how to set up your content locations, change themes, and get xlink kai running, there are certain things you need to do on your own.

There already seems to be some confusion over the above post.
If we have already spoken via PM, i will of course stick to what we have agreed but for anyone else my RGH service includes the followinig

1. Coolrunner glitch chip
2. Coolrunner Installation
3. Freeboot (hacked NXE) installation

Any other software installation will be up to you guys.

IMPORTANT

Can people please make sure that they are adding the requested details to ALL consoles sent to me. I currently have a pile of consoles here and 3 or 4 dont have ANY indication of who has sent them and where they are going.

Its impossible for me to do any work or return the consoles when i have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing and where they are to be returned.

Just some images of a coolrunner install, this was actually done on a slim that had been totally messed up by its owner, it looked like he had tried to install it with a flame thrower.

I got rid of the huge amount of solder on both the board and the coolrunner, and then i tidied everything up and started from scratch. It boots within 10 seconds every time and works perfectly.

Just got a RGH done. Works perfectly, very fast turnaround, even though I forgot to include any of my details with the console I sent! Highly recommended

For the RGH install, do you provide the the nand dumps on disc?

What happened - did you get a knock on the door or was it dealing with too many idiots?

Well i wouldn't say NEVER again but for now i'm just sick of customers expecting to be spoon fed for the next year once ive done a mod. I have absolutely no problem helping customers with any problems but the questions i'm getting are driving me insane.

Every time MS release a new update i get bombarded with the same question "shall i update and is it LIVE safe" Then i start getting the " there's a new freeboot shall i reflash my jtag/RGH and can you give me a tutorial on how to do it"
Just when i think it cant get any worse, i start getting the "Ive put some new games on my Jtag but i'm not sure where ive put them and they aren't showing up, can you tell me what ive done wrong and how to fix it? Can you also tell me what games i can use with Xlink kai and can you tell me how it works"

Yesterday i started getting PMs from someone that purchased a Jtag from one of my customers, but decided he would start asking me what firmware the drive has and can i provide NAND dumps etc ..... this, along with several "shall i update" messages made me decide i'd had enough.

Fair enough - I can see how that would get on your nerves...!

I do IT support for people at home and I constantly get the same stupid questions from technophiles and people who just can't seem to read basic instructions. Its demoralising!!

The RGH glitch includes installation of coolrunner and freeboot ONLY, no other software will be installed.

Already got yourself the coolrunner and/or QSBs?
I'll do the installation for just £20

I dont keep either the coolrunner or demon in stock due to the cost and not having time to do as many as i used to so you provide me with the console, coolrunner, and demon and i'll do the complete hardware install for the great price of £35 including return delivery.

I do NOT provide any software whatsoever, this is simply a hardware install only.
