I want to try to flashing, I need suggestion on what to get. Well I can't afford anything expensive I kind of want to try it on a phat 360 instead of my slim 0225 so would anyone know a website that sells them for dirt cheap? Also I was reading up on the x360usb pro would that be the best thing to buy? Also could someone post a link on what gadgets I'd need from them and a retailer that would ship it fast? Thanks for the help guy's I know the same old questions must get annoying but I have no idea what to research for this.

The tools you will need depends on what dvd-drive is in the 360 you end up getting. If it's a benq, LG, or samsung you won't need any tools except for maybe a VIA 6421 pci sata card. If you get a liteon drive there are a few different options available. I personally use the usb maximus extractor for 74850 drives and the vampire (not with the rebuild boards they are junk) for 8350 v2 and 93450 drives. I would check craigslist or similar sites for a good deal. I have purchased many 360's off of local sites like that anywhere from $50 - $150 depending on the model and what was included with it.

It depends what chipset you have. I've used various Intel chipset motherboards and the sata ports worked just fine with jungleflasher.

So This Should work fine with any PCI slot? I do have an old dinosaur IDE pc laying it needs a SATA card anyway. While reading some more I read that x360usb Pro should work with pretty much every drive except 0225 and 0500 for obvious reasons.

Yes, that card should work fine. The x360usb Pro is another good option although I haven't personally used it.

Right, when ever I watch videos on flashing I always see them using something else with the x360usb is that the Probe3? Or I don't know what it's called.

When ever I log in the 360 board is always minimized and I'm use to see the Newbie forum on there so that's why I always get confused.
