ok, i got a cromwell 1.8 clean install, just installed my x 2.1 lite, and i was wonderin what exactly can i do with this thing? i mean, it doesnt let me do much, cromwell atleast, and im waitin till i get some new cd rws so i can reflash with eVo X but i was wonderin what can i do with cromwell?

you dont need the cds to flash it
just ftp to your box and in the c partition make a folder named "BIOS" and stick the bios you wanna use in there
make sure your chip is set to flash mode and update you bios from there

U can do all this with just the cromwell bios great. jester.gif

No i dont think so Unknown Force u will have just to wait untill u get some cd-rw or just run linux WAIT no u cant do either coz u have no cd-rw smile.gif

so u can do nothing other then leave chip turned off and use it as an xbox.

You can't do anyting with cromwell, except boot linux (uze OzxFlash to flash the chip).

If it is team xecuters flashbios cromwell, you can flash the bios with it.

ok, i got new cd-rws, office depot 700mb/80 min for 3.95, buy 1 3 pack get 2 more 3 packs for free biggrin.gif , anyways, i burned oxsflash onto a cd and it loadedup but i get the errorloading linux boot cdroom, unable to find it, haulting dry.gif

those are POS discs that you bought at Office depot. That is why you are having troubles. When i first got into the scene, i tried using those discs, but they plain suck. Go and get some verbatim data life plus cdrws (this is the only thing i use) and try loading ozxflash with these cdrws. This should fix your problem, good luck.
