I have got an x box 360 which I bought cheap as it only reads cds not games or dvds. I changed the laser but it has made no difference, is this a sign that someone has made an error when flashing drive, and is key likely to be still obtainable if I were to get another drive?

If the drive key is wrong it should still read DVD movies.
