Hi everyone.

Im thinking about modding my xbox so it can run homebrew and backups.
I searched the web and found driffrent tutorials but im still confused.
Can anyone tell me the diffrent ways there are atm of modding?
Ive got a xbox slim 250 gb FDOU version.
Ive seen the flashing dvd drive tutorials but do i need some special device to flash it or can i just hook it up to my computer and flash it?
According to the xbox360drives list ive got the Philips-LiteOn 16D4S drive.

You have a Slim so there will be no homberew for you.

Only the first drive revision in the first batch of Slims can be modded right now.

You may want to start HERE.

Ty for the reply.
Ill have a look later if i have the right drive.
Is there also a way to hide a modded drive from XBL so it won't ban me?
Im still not sure if ill mod my drive but thnx for the info smile.gif

Right.

And for another few days the current firmware would be as safe for Live as you can be. But if a Live ban is something you cant live with then I suggest you dont mod at all. There will never be 100% safe way to play backups on a Live console.

Ok thnx.
Will think about it, got my xbox just a few days so i will see if XBL is usefull to me.
