im buying a jtagged xbox 360 really soon and just want to know the basics about how to update it properly so i can still play burned games on LIVE without getting banned and other basic functions a noob should know about. also, i know with a jtagged 360, u can play games off an external HDD. Now i've been told two different things and now i just want to clear it up: can you use ANY external HDD to play downloaded xbox 360 games off of or does it have to be a specific one (Seagate Free Agent GoFlex)?

Firstly, exploited consoles don't go on LIVE. Period.

Secondly, asking about playing backups on LIVE is explicitly prohibited on these forums.

Thirdly, asking for help with pirated materials is explicitly prohibited in the rules.

Perhaps you should have read the rules to which you agreed before posting. It would have saved you this trouble.
