While working on my slimbox, my 4 year old daughter gave me a guilt trip because her xbox didnt look as "pretty" as mine do (she is the only one allowed to call my work pretty). So needless to say, I'm working on another custom mod, this one for her to keep all her Disney movies on. Taking her tomorrow to pick out the colors she wants on it. Anyways, here's what i've done so far.

In the beginning:

Cut the DVD Rom:

Cut the Case:

Ignore my crappy dremel work. I just cannot seem to make a straight cut.

More pics of both projects tomorrow.

Update:

All pieces painted.

I will never use Krylon florescent paint again. 2 cans and the black still comes through.

Now I just need to re-assemble and plexi the window.

P.S.
Yes I know I got my fingers in the paint on the DVD tray. wink.gif

99.9% finished.

Decided after that the clear jewel wasnt right. Went for black instead.

Still need to do the plexi for the window and finish shaving the xbox lettering from the DVD door.
I also should find a new jewel. The one I had for this is pretty beat up. Doesnt matter really, its for my 4 year old daughter to watch her movies on smile.gif
