I have a Samsung TS-H943 MS28. I've been trying to flash it for about a year - off and on.

I flash it with iXtreme 1.61. Won't read backups, retailed games go to DVD screen that says "put this into an XBOX 360 console". DVD's work fine.

So then I reflashed stock firmware, it worked. That was about 6 months ago.

Well today I tried to flash iXtreme LT. Same problem. So I flash back the stock firmware and it's still doing the same thing.

I don't understand it. I absolutely have the stock firmware backed up and also have the correct DVD key.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I've probably JTAG'ed and flashed twenty 360's and can't figure this one out! :<

No if it was spoofed then it would have failed the new dash update.

I had a similar problem the other day, i had i drive that would not work on stock but worked fine on LT+ 1.9. Ended up just leaving it at 1.9 fw.

Not spoofed in any way and the software I used to flash it today was JungleFlasher.0.1.84.Beta(250).

So JF is reading the drives firmware ten you are letting it auto select and create a proper custom firmware for your drive then flashing that firmware to your drive right?

Could the laser be dying?

Just a thought as I've heard some sammy's need a pot tweak after flashing a CFW to the drive.

That's right.

I also tried 'manually' selecting the stock firmware and flashing it as well. Still no go.

Haven't tried adjusting the laser, but I did try cleaning it (for the heck of it).
