I apologize if this is primative, but I installed the mod chip on my XBOX years ago, and it's been working fine. The units boots to Game menu, kids are playing, and I'm happy. Today, they turned it on, and it boots up fine, but goes to Dashboard only. My options are MS Dash (clicking doesn't do much, returns to same menu), Reboot, Power Off, Settings, Backup, Flash BIOS.
I can't get it to get back to game menu. I don't know what happened. Any help is appreciated. I forgot all the modchip related stuff, as I did it years ago, and it's been working fine.

It sounds as though your evox.ini file has become corrupted. Just find it (start by looking in the root of the C partition) and use FTP to replace it with one that includes the games - start with the stock evox.ini that comes with a clean copy of the Evox dashboard, and edit it to meet your needs.
