ok i just got a used hdtv so i set my modded xbox with xbmc to 1080i, and now my fable game will start up but it looks like the component cables are hocked up wrong but its only that game and my emulators. so how do i fix it im not as worried about the emulators as im sure ill find some that suport hd but how do i get fable to work

Hey dude, for any hd on ur xbox first of all it needs to be set to NTSC, u can use enigma NTSC /pal converter thingy to do that for ya. Hd won't work if ur box is set to pal. Next, as far as I know the highest res u can have for your xbox games is 480p, emus are different though depending on which ones your using.

Maybe you're thinking of the PlayStation 2.

A handful of xbox games did use 1080i resolution.
A much larger handful of xbox games used 720p (better picture than 1080i, IMO) resolution.
And virtually all xbox games support 480p.

Which games play in 720p? All the games iv every played only show up as 480p?

I am sure you could find a list somewhere online. If you have some retail xbox games laying around, they state supported resolutions on the back of the case.

ok its XBMC as the dash.
in settings i have it set to auto detect region and resalotion.
ive tryed every to manualy pick the settings from 4:3 all the way up to to 1080i 16:9
and manualy setting the region. nothing works beside connecting the SD cable. and this is the only game i have a prob with.

and i do have a prob with halo 2 but its not my disk thats messed with it, my box has never played halo 2 even befor i modded it and i tried several disks always gave me error 21
