That sticker is just a sticker. Whatever jungle flasher says it is, that's what you have. Right now there is no CFW for the 0272.

HOLY FAIL! so there is no way to read the firmware or key or anything at all? say if I were to get another slim drive and spoof it or something.
ash1471
You can read the firmware by clicking on slimkey in jungle flasher and flash it with 9504 firmware. But if you want to use live I wouldnt bother.
SNAAAKE
if I went online would it reflash my system again or I will get banned? just curious huh.gif

It wont reflash it again but I would imagine it will cause a flag for a ban .

Takashi
You can't read an erased drive.
Status 72 = blank.

Heres another one who claims to know what he is talking about,
post counting lol, trust me its quality not quantity that counts.
Please research what 0x72 means on a embedded spi, or do I have to school you?

How about being helpful and not criticize so much?
There's nothing helpful in anything you've replied with here.

I could care less what it means, cause in the terms of JF when you hit that magic"ERASE LITEON" button which erases the drive and drops it into vendor mode and gives it a status OF X72. Means that it's now a blank drive. Your asking people that have been modding consoles for years now and you wanna sit and argue...

x72 meaning that the key is now erased.
boneym
@Takashi
I am not criticsing, just trying to post accurate information.
@ vb_encryption_vb
firstly the thread was about a slim liteon. liteon erase commands do nothing to a slim drive, nothing at all.
use slimunlock on a slim drive, get serial flash with status 0x72, is the drive erased? NO
use slimkey, intro the drive, get serial flash with status 0x72, is the drive erased? NO
maybe we should talk about drives you are more familar with, say a phat liteon.
Use MRA on a phat liteon, get serial flash with status 0x72, is the drive erased? NO.
Like I said 0x72 doesnt mean the drive is erased, but the spi is unlocked and in a state ready to be
read or written to.
OggyUK
As boneym states, its far but erased,

MTK Vendor mode ?
OggyUK
Oh and I have 1700+ posts, so my e-peen is far larger.

haha indeed, like you get 72 when doing MRA method, spi isn't erased but rather it's unlocked

lol @ post count > all else
bbsal
I dont have a high post count or nothing but been in the game long enough years and years now. spi 72 does not mean erased as oggy states and others it simply means its in a state that can be wrote or read. biggrin.gif
Takashi
lol all i know is I treat is as erased, it's just as useful! call it erased, vendor, full/empty, your mom,
what does it matter? has any of this helped the OP?

written afaik, not read when it pertains to fat.
Slim, I have yet to open one.
I suggested waiting to all of my customers.
Status 72 with fat lite-ons when using l-o-eras, afaik meant erased, pretty clear to me!
Always meant no turning back.
OggyUK
0x72 for MRA / Paht means it can be read, too.

It's MTK Vendor Mode, once only obtainable through LOE, you just didn't move with the times.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To everyone calling about how it helps the OP, it doesn't but the 0x72 came from someone who wasn't the OP, too.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Can you flash an 0272? Yes, with 9504 iXtreme LT+ 1.1

2. Is it safe? No!!!!

3. Is it currently detectable? Yes!!! The drive's inquiry response changed, if on XBL and its response is that of an 9504, MS know that drive is modded or swapped out as latest XBL dash flashes 9504 drives
