I saw the thread in my search for answers, now What i find is that i can "suposedly use"
blender to make my anim and also use DirectX Exporter Mod.8.0 to save them as .x files
I think the latter is a sript that blender uses. "no idea havent tried it yet"
But they are free so im going to give it a go.

Dont know what parts of them may or may notr be sharing some code with MS and what the rights of sharing for that may or may not be so i havent added any links. But google can find them easy enough.

Xbox_Text_Tutorial.pdf may be of use.

I have a copy of some of the most popular x files from allxboxskins I might upload them somewhere.

p.s

if you could upload the .x files you have to megaupload or rapidshare excetera id be greatfull

I can't provide any credits to the original makers or location (I think some are from geuxe.net) of these models as they were just unrared on my HDD.

However, I uploaded what I had for anyone to use.

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YWPKBC9Y

Included in the archive:

Batman (flubber, text & xlogo)
Covenant (flubber, text, mslogo & xlogo)
Cube (flubber)
Dolphin (flubber, text & xlogo)
Fuck Box (flubber, text & xlogo)
Halo (multiple flubber, text & xlogo)
Hybride (flubber)
Lara Croft (flubber, text & xlogo)
Merco Benz (flubber, text & xlogo)
Sonic (multiple flubber, text & xlogo)
Woman Head (flubber)
Zelda Triforce (flubber, text & xlogo)
All of the above directories have an indbios.cfg

The 'xfiles' directory from KernelBasher 1.1 containing 14 xbox text replacements.

hooray !

thanks.
Honestly i dont understand these 3d modeling programs lol.. The things i make dont pop up where i want them too.
shambles1980
well i made my own .x files. the tutorial dosent work for whatever vesrion of the programs i have though. so i made them from scratch using DeleD 3d, or blender. but they just dont show up.
well they show up as blank i should say. maybe im facing the dumb things the wrong way. one of them i had forgotten to render but when i did, it needed a materials.bmp with it.
still did not show up.

so i give up lol.

the ones you uploaded work though..
and when i compare them to the ones i made in a notepad the structure looks diferent but not by much.

any way il just use the mslogo.bmp along with some combination of these x files. smile.gif

thnx for uploading
