I have a few Liteon iHAS224B drives, selling for $35 shipped flashed with iXtreme Burner MAX firmware. This is the version with LightScribe.

What method is used on the drives and are they easily unlockable?

Im using the maximus lizard and doing soft locks unless someone requests a hard lock.

So they will be unlockable via jungle flasher for further updates if you chose to do so yourself.

I have a 9504 drive but been updated on xbox live and now its locked with the new 27(something) firmware. now you can unlock this, mod it, softlock it?

Feedback for a trusted seller. A few years ago I purchased a Jasper from blob_54 and that xbox has ran solid with no issues after countless hours of game play by my and other family members.

I was now ready for a glitched slim so I asked blob_54 if he could send one my way. After a smooth paypal transaction the slim xbox arrived on my door step. I hooked it up this morning and we have played kinect and regular games with zero issues for the last several hours.

The xbox arrived packaged well and looking brand new. Communications with blob_54 have always been prompt and professional.
