hi, i have a samsung ms 28, flashed with ixtream 1.5 i think [i used frosty the snowmans usb flashing method].
i also have a kreon drive in my pc, i've been reading and it seems i cant use my pc drive anymore to rip games.

What i want to know is what firmware and software i need to rip my 360 games with my ms28 drive, i dont play online [my dash is the kinect one, if that helps]
a link to a n00b friendly tut would be nice smile.gif

So is the only problem with ripping games with a kreon drive, the fact that they cant read the new security sector? if a disc has a blank ss, does that just mean it cant be played online? Does that mean i can still play the game offline? or wont it boot

thanks in advance
LeHaM
anyone?

Samsung drives are pretty much obsolete because they can't read ap2.5 data. You need a Benq or Liteon(xbox360 drives) with 0800 firmware.

The best firmware for Samsung MS28 is probably ixtreme 1.6 0800 version.
You will able to backup older games with SS1 or SS2 protection.

The latest games have either XGD3 or AP2.x protection.
And only Benq or LiteOn drives with 0800 v3 firmware can do back up for those games.
