I don't know if this is the right place but is there a way to play original XBOX games on a soft modded 360 that has been banned? It's up to the latest dashboard but when i put in a disc it tries to get an update from XBOX Live and I can't go from there. Is there anywhere that I can the files it's trying to download and manually install them?

you need to locate and install the xbox1 compatibility files to your hdd, search here and you'll find a guide for it . You'll need a transfer cable to do it although there may be a way to do it via USB update.
