Team FSD posted more news about their upcoming new homebrew dashboard, named RxE, for the 360:

Here is a little game list demonstration detailing the current features. The video quality is not that great because it is taken from a camera and not a direct feed.

Holy smoke,,,,, now this is what I have been waiting for. I am so glad to see the scene taking off again and breathing new life into our consoles lol.

Let the party begin!

a little concerned by the high temps in the vid.....especially compared to the previous ones....tho maybe just cos shot the fans down low compared to the previous one with it not being a direct feed video recording

Good to see trailers are reintroduced too
.:Dino:.

Well if this is anything like FSD 2.0 we will never see a stable release & we will get an update next summer telling us how they do not plan on doing another update! LOLLOLLOL laugh.gif

ANYWAY
This looks really good. Can't wait.

As a homebrew newb, I hope this software can come pre-programed on a chip...a solderless chip...naturally. tongue.gif

(I bet when MS releases a new console in a couple years, it will have "borrowed" some of their ideas)

phenomenal work guys. beerchug.gif

Unfortunately you have no chance. Freestyle dash is a program running from your hard drive and the only way you'll get a chance to use it is with a Jtagged console. I'm pretty sure we'll also see it running on a slim in the next few months once we see a modified kernel for the new RGH.
Romen
Now... does it have MKV playback through the dash? :-)

Good work!

First of all I just wanna say a BIG FUCK YOU to klbarnes1, cornnatron and the rest of you that bash such an amazing piece of work known as FSD. Go back to XexLoader!

Second I wanna say an even BIGGER THANK YOU, to MaesterRowen, JQE and the rest of TeamFSD for bringing such an amazing piece of software to the Xbox360! The Jtag/Xbox360 Homebrew scene wouldn't be what it is without you guys.

I've been in the Jtag/SMC Hack/Xbox360 Homebrew scene or w/e you wanna call it since day 1, been modding consoles since I could afford to buy my own soldering iron (started when I was 15, now am 25). There hasn't been such a sleek and and beautiful Dashboard replacement like yours. Yes there is some amazing dashboards/homebrew loaders for other consoles (EvoX, UnleashX and BlackstormX for the Xbox/Usb Loader GX for Wii/MultiMan for PS3 just some I can think of off the top of my head), but none that bring what FSD does to the 360.

I can tell you guys have learned a shitload over the passed couple of years coding for the 360 to get to where you are now, and hence the new direction/rebuild of FSD/RxE, and I LOVE IT! Keep it up guys, and don't listen to these fools that don't know the time and effort that's put into these projects, and have no lives of their own, so they come onto the internets and bash other peoples efforts because they have nothing else to do. Fuck EM. There are a lot more of us that appreciate what you guys do but just don't usually have the time to show the love!

So for everyone that doesn't usually have the time to show your appreciation, Take 5 minutes, Login and give TeamFSD A FUCK YEAH! and show them some love, so we can keep seeing progress like this in the future!

FUCK YEAH TEAMFSD!!!!!!!
dialtone187
sheet the wait for this is gonna kill me... I want it nowwww *drewl*... ah well i guess good things come to those who wait.
rober60
I can swear you guys eff scholarly a shitload over the passed twain of geezerhood writing for the 360 to get to where you are now, and thence the new direction/rebuild of FSD/RxE, and I LOVE IT! Enter it up guys, and don't centre to these fools that don't copulate the instance and endeavour that's put into these projects, and make no lives of their own, so they come onto the internets and bump separate peoples efforts because they screw cypher else to do.
klbarnes1
Well here we are almost 6 months after this was posted and still no mention of it. I love freestyle dash and I know its hard to complain when people do this for free and out of the goodness of their heart. But why get peoples hopes up and not come through. Why not release this video a week or 2 before its going to be released! Not 6-12-24 months! Like I said in my original post, I'm guessing we will get an update early this summer telling us how they don't plan on doing another update this summer!
DaBuisneZ
To be fair on their part klbarnes1 alot has changed since then.Remember their style was based off previous dash.Im sure they struggled to decide whether or not to stick with what they were working on or convert style. Now to be fair on our end we do nothing to truthfully contribute so all we can do is jus wait. But IMHO jus add RXE to the list of awesome stuff that will never see light. Kinda like the DS emu and Dreamcast emu.
