hi guys,
got a problem here and its been hounding me for days.m8 dropped up his slim said it was not reading games,so i ordered him a new lense and carriage all in one.installed it,doubled checked i had the ribbon cables in correctly and tried it.when i insert a game this disc icon will spin for about 30 secs to a minute then it makes a noise as if it is trying to eject the disc,icon stops spinning no disc icon showing under game.disc insert and eject no problem at all.inserted several games (all originals)same result.so i stuck in a dvd video and hey presto dvd shows up and plays with no problems.what i would like to know is why it will play dvd videos and not ps3 games.anyhelp would be brillant.
