Ok Ive been waiting forever to do any modding to my 360s.

I have 3 broken ones, rrod on a few video problems with one.

I also have one slim and plan on possibly getting another slim soon.

back in the xbox1 days I used UDE to do all xboxes, with different versions of ude that came included with the package, you could do any kernal dash.

What are the most universal programs used for all 360 drives to make my own backups?

or do I really have to have a different program for every 360, or maybe just certain 360's?

I know I could find all this inof myself by digging more, but im tired, im sick of digging, could someone help me out please?

alot of the tuts n such on this site seem hard to follow these days, not the actualt tut's themselves, but finding the right ones.

thx for any help.

For ripping your own games use:

Xbox Backup Creator, 0800 firmware on either a benq or liteon xbox 360 drive. In other words, purchase one of those drives as a dedicated ripping drive for your PC. Hope that helps.

The best backup combination

Dedicated xbox360 drives -
Either Benq VAD6038 or Liteon DG-16D2S with 0800 v3 firmware.
Caused these two drives will back up XGD2 and XGD3 including correct AP2.5 data.

LiteOn pc dvd burner - ihasx24b with ixtreme burner max firmware.
Caused they allow 100% burning of XGD3 ISO to regular DVD+R DL disc.

And of course Xbox 360 with LT+ v2.x firmware to play.

Software -
Xbox Backup Creator v2.9 build 0345
current Imgburn porgram 2.5.6.0

and for flashing all these different drives I already own?

jungleflasher?

is it possible to get the same disc to play on all different drives/firmware?

do i have to make specific backups for each different xbox? orcan i burn one disc that will play in all of them?

JF should do the job. Check the tutorial. One disk works on all the drives so long as they have the same firmware.

thx so much again!

so even if i have a problem drive (one thats uncommon or harder to fllash than others with common firmware) I can always take another of the broken xboxes that have a good (nonproblem) drive, and flash it to whichever xbox i want so long as i have all orriginal data?

first thing i need to do is take em apart and find out what drives i have...

if i can even get one to boot. smile.gif lol i might have to get around rrod first.

the 2 that do boot, are not my experimental ones lol maybe the one thats not still under warrantee

I could always just flash the drives from the broken xbox to the one i have that can be opened, if i get the info off that drive first. just to get started...
hmmm decisions
