cOz released a new version of Dash Launch build for XDK-homebrew RGH/JTAG 360s. What's new/fixed: * correct jtag/glitch wording in installer patch updater * fix compare with glitch machine, now accurate when it checks patches for update * add fcrt removal patch (and correction) * rebuild to hopefully improve stability (less optimization) * changed contpatch to only patch ID bytes to 0xFF * fix sonic, more thoroughly hooked disk verification (thanks again Nate!) * add current launch.xex version display to installer, add versioning * add note about encryption on modified retail xex * added '$' to permitted chars in launch.xex ini parser Official Site: n/a, by cOz Download: n/a (built with XDK) Full Readme/NFO: xbins.org

someone downloaded it from there and put it on Xbins.

This fixes MGS HD collection DVD 2, Peacewalker causing a permanent "Fatal Error". Possibly other fixes too.

Anyone know what the use or purpose of the "for_xxbuild.zip" file is? Nothing in the readme about it.

I think that is for use in either FBbuild or GGbuild.

what are the benefits of a fcrt removal patch?

Using different drives with the glitch kernel than what came with the console, or if you for example had a corrupt dump and can't recover the original fcrt file.

I've hoped this fixed Resident Evil 4 GOD, but still shows a error screen "cant launch game" when I try to play it.

If you don't have a profile that is associated to the licenses in the XBLA/GOD header, and you haven't used yaris swap (or dash launch contpatch option, which isn't recommended) then of course the game is not going to work.

btw, in case you didn't know this answer comes from a warzone... dash launch turned my family into zombies and now I'm fighting for my life! Long live xbox! ... ah jeeze, dash launch ate all my ramen too, so now I'm gonna be a starving zombie :'(

Just tried it, runs fine (GOD on dl 2.26).

Same problem here, the solution that worked for me was to GOD2ISO, extract the ISO and run the game via the xex-file. Worked perfectly..

i ve identified a bug with Dashlaunch 2.26, RGH and Slim with DVD 1175.
I suspect the Freebot Patches to render the DVD unusable (Original DVD will show as Video DVD).
Falling back to Dashlaunch 2.25 will get the DVD working again.
Behavior found on a series of Console from the same pack (at least 6 of them)
Pack is Forza 3/Crysis 2 - 250 Go with 1175.
RGH is fully working, of course 1175 was untouched.

i would be inclinded to think that the fcrt patch somehow conflicts with the fact that the 1175 is untouched
