I'm trying to flash my X2 lite with Xecuter2_4976.02_MulitiVer_256k.bin and it's giving me a file size error. I've taken off the flash protection jumper and can't find any other posts that might solve my problem. I get the following screen when I try to flash:

Manufacturers ID 01 Device ID d5
Flash Type XECUTER2
Error file size error

X2 lite is a 1mb bios use XBtools to copy itself 4 times to equal 1mb.

ok i've gone really fuckin' retarded now.....i was flashing the newest bios after i made it 1mb with XBtools and evox froze up so i thought to myself....just reboot your xbox and try again.....without realizing that it had already erased my old bios I hit the power switch...now my xbox won't come on....and I'm just gonna go to bed before I fuck somethin' else up so I hope when I get up in the mornin' there's a helpful post that'll inform me of what i need to do....have mercy....

It sounds like you've had a bad flash. You'll need an X2 Lite External Programmer or another modded xbox to hotswap your chip with.

Yeah - likely a bad flash. This was one of the reasons I got the pro. Programmer built right in.
