Would it be possible to mod the autospeed file to keep my console at a certain temp. I like the idea of having automated fan control but i think ms sets their temps a bit high

No need. Just edit your config in 360 Flash Dump Tool. The thermal values are what you want to edit. After editing, flash it back to your console. The first three temps are target temps for CPU, GPU and EDRAM; the last three are overload (which I believe is for console shutdown/overheating).

that's the whole point of the autospeed.xex file, you use a certain % speed patch file and patch the autospeed.xex file with it using fanspeedpatcher. also depends what console your using (slim or phat) and is it a retail, jtag or RGH. as i have heard alot of people saying that editing the SMCconfig does not work on RGH slims...................sudeki300

Thanks!

Used 360flashdumptool v.97 and it worked like a charm on my Trinity. Dropped it 10c and its still nice and quiet
