well guys after several ours of reading i am absolutely clueless.
Today i got my xbox installed with an Coolrunner. In my stupidity, i thought i just could plug in an external HDD (500GB) (after i put some games on it prepped with exiso-GUI) and i finally could play.
Well that isn't working and i have no idea what to do, in my opinion i have tried a lot of things. Formatted the HDD in NTFS and in FAT32 but the FSD isn't recognizing the HDD.
What i am doing wrong? Any help is much much appreciated!

All you have to do is plug the hdd in and go to system settings > memory > and format the drive

hum oke, how do i get the games on the drive then (without ftp?)
I thought i could get a whole of games on to the 500gb HDD, am i mistaking then? From my understanding i thought the HDD is formatting then as an 16GB HDD?
(please forgive my noobish-questions)

Thanks for your help, i had not formatted the drive correctly, it was fat32 but it wasn't a primary type, it was logical for some reason.
changed type as Primary...
Finally its working!
