excellent, now i just need to figure out how to do this without fecking up me new rgh. bought yesterday and have no idea were to install lol

get a usb hdd and create the following dir

usb:\Apps\FSD2\

install all the files there

install dashlaunch 2.27 and set the launch.ini settings to defualt boot to

usb:\Apps\FSD2\default.xex

Please dont flame me but..... can i use FSD as my main dash ie turn on xbox then have it boot straight to FSD 2.7 just a thought smile.gif

Yes sure you can, that is one of the jobs that Dashlaunch takes care of. You can assign FreeStyle Dash as the default boot so like you said your 360 will automatically boot to FSD when switched on.
You can also assign a button to the standard dash so if your exiting a game, booting up or hit the guide then Y button and hold the button you have assigned in dashlaunch it will load that dashboard instead of the default :-)

wow thanks bud will look into this now. i have the latest dashlauch as well but never knew i could make it look at freestyle dash as the main dashboard...

gotta find a guide now to point me in the right direction smile.gif

not to be a dick or anything... but all the info you need is in the dashlaunch readme file. it explains everything you can configure and what each feature is.

I wonder if I'll be able to save an smb game path if I install it this way? Or if it will still be broken?
Eh, I guess it won't matter much longer anyway. My new internal hard drive is coming today. smile.gif

I'm trying to install FSD to onboard MU on my 4gig slim, will the installer let me chose the MU and then set launch.ini to boot into FSD from the MU ?
