I just brought a pack of verbatim 2.4x dvd DL from office max in the usa ( made in singarpore )
I patched my saint row 3 using xbox backup creator with XGD3.Profile.ID.F87A804E.top.data.v1.bin
Burn it with imgburn using setting perform OPC before write ( unchecked) and Smart Burn, Force Hyper Tuning & Online Hyper Tuning enable.
xbox 360 has a liteon drive with 3.0 fw ( i can play original MW3 , xdg2 backup ) but cannot played the new xdg3 which I just made of saint row.
what I'm doing wrong?

What kind of error message do you get? Have you tried adjusting the settings?

run kprobe2 on that disc at 4x and post the results to confirm you have a GOOD burn. it took me a good 20 discs before i got the correct combination with my setup.

i can tell you my settings, but don't rely on them to give you a 100% good burn. run kprobe2 at 4x, and see if your burn is good or not. like i said, i messed around, tried other peoples settings, and i literally have a stack of verbatim coasters on my desk (so pissed).
my settings:
burn-proof disabled
perform opc before write - enabled
force hyper tuning - disabled
online hyper tuning - enabled
overspeed - enabled
smartburn - enabled
clear opc before each write
burn at 4x

i've used both, and burning at 2.4x gave me higher PI. currently using 003's though. maybe your setup will work better at 2.4x, run kprobe and find out.
