Just wondering if my xbox 360 is modded.
I bought a used 360 at my local pawnshop,trouble is when we trieds to go online it said it was banned.
does this mean it was modded.
If not how did it get banned an can I unbanned it,

Microsoft don't usually ban consoles unless they have been modified.
The only way of knowing if it has been opened is to look to see if the seal has been broken or pealed away. I believe the seal is underneath the front cover on the phat xbox.

Run a network test. Once the test is complete the console should tell you if you are banned. I believe the Z line in the error code describes bans. If it contains anything other than 0's then you are banned.

warranty stickers mean nothing they are easily removed and replaced without breaking them
whoever sold the unit to the shop duped them by putting a warranty sticker back on before selling it.
shop really should have tested it before accepting it.
id go back to the store and ask for a replacement one stating that they sold you a modified unit which is illegal.
