Looking at another 360. A Falcon - I believe. Currently has a 3RRoD - with a secondary code of 0000
Yes ! - 0000 - A/V cords plugged IN
Now, just to state first - yes A/V cords are plugged in. Tried 3 different cords that have always worked. Also tried an HDMI.
Tried another RF module. Tried different cords for the DVD drive.
Fans are running. Dvd drive powered - will eject tray
But yes there is a 3rrod - secondary code 0000. And it appears that I could get an infinite chains of 0's. When holding the sync and pressing the eject button - the starting 3 lights will change to 4, then go on and on as 4 no matter how many times I press the eject button. Never returns back to 3 lights. Unless power cycled.
Checked resistance at the surface mount Caps beside the GPU and CPU. Getting 1.5 ohms for the GPU and 14.2 ohms for the CPU. The 14 ohms seem high. Another Falcon board checked out at 5.5 ohms.
So - help please !!

This is not an actual error code, but rather the Xbox freezing partway through figuring out what part of itself is being troublesome. I've had luck with reflowing the south bridge chip. Some people recommend putting a plate on top of the chip, held down with screws from the underside. I haven't tried this myself but I read that from Xbox-experts. Food for thought.

Thanks GoTeam
I appreciate that you chimed in.
I have actually done reballs to GPUs and CPUs in other 360. I will probably try a reball to the Southbridge. Have the stencil and the solder.

You should start a New post with that. Because it is a different code than the 0000 - won't be found right away by others you could help
