hi, i dont normally post in forums as i find most info by searching, but i cant find any info on this problem probbably because it requires a motherboard replacement

problem: ps3 fat,
i snapped the blueray ribbon connector clip. basically i am wandering if the actual connector (not clip) can be raplaced as i had a fiddle with it and made it worse. any info would be great.

i think hes saying where the ribbon goes from the dvd into the motherboard is broken....i was wondering the same i took mine apart to clean and where the ribbon goes into the motherboard and cilps in...the clip part broke off is there a way to fix the part you stick the ribbon into
i didnt think of taking a pic....i put it back together and it still works just prefer to have it fix so no fear of it coming losse ill try and find a pic
