I have an elite system, the power button gwork and so does the console but i get no green leds on the front, took my falcon apart and tried the rf board on that and leds work fine.
Does anyone know were i could look for a bad connection of blowen component?

Do you get any video picture? Or does it just power on and show the center green light, but not the other 4? Sounds like it could be time for a gpu reflow, if that's the cse.

xbox works fine just tested it with a wired controller all perfect but just found out wont sync with a wireless controller
Apart from this xbox works fine

look on the front of the rf board to the right hand side and see if the silver crystal is there . i have had a few rf boards with the crystal knocked off and they did the same thing just replace it and your good.

fixed it, opened it up to flash drive and redo the thermal past after putting board back in connected the from rf card and pushed the motherboard slitly and all came to life.
One hell of a find as i just bought this from some one on facebook for £20 as dead and now its all up and running for nothing
