So I've been dabbling with my Wii for a couple days, and noticed they got this "Homebrew Browser" app that you can install,
from there you can easily get all the homebrew stuff right into your Wii.

Now I was thinking, we all know that the Xbox has that whole SDK problem thingy going on,
but what if.. this tool was still created so people could use it for themselves..
imagine having it look at a certain directory on your pc or home server, and then installing it from there.

And eh.. people could have their own server open so others could check it and download binaries from there.
(non MS XDK compiled of course!)

I know for a fact that XBMC uses a similar way to update, so why not have an app like that for programs and emulators?

Would be nice..

I've thought about it before. I think the best way would be to make the browser itself an XBMC plugin as opposed to a standalone application.

Closest thing to that atm is Navi X; though it's missing a TON of stuff.
