Hello
Offering Reball or Chip Re-pinning to those who need it.
Can do a Reball to the various Chips on the Phat 360: GPU, CPU, HANA, Southbridge and RAM. Using Leaded spheres.
As for the Slim: if the stencils carry over for the same design - then we are good to go.
Common chips that need Reballing are usually the GPU and sometimes the Southbridge
So - if you are interested or curious please send me a personal message or reply post. I usually come to this message board site daily. Let me know in detail the problem your 360 is experiencing.
Can handle a few other RROD issues like the 0001 and 0002. Also can replace certain parts of the DVD drive.
360 consoles will most likely have to be mailed to me. I live near Des Moines in the state of Iowa. Usually I can send a bubble wrapped 360 thru Postal Priority for 10.95
So - contact me for questions or to get the process started.

What are your prices? I have one Jtag Zephyr that needs the GPU replaced (it's warped) and another Zephyr that probably just needs reballing.

United States Postal has just raised their rates
Medium Flat Rate Priority was 10.95 - now 11.35
Best way to ship 360s for the price and the speed.
Entire console fits in the box, even with bubble wrap

members of Xbox scene that I have recently helped:
albcool - GPU reball - has his 360 back in his possession
juvix8888 - beat a 0002 for him on one job & on the second one: resolved a No Power with sub component replacement, plus the HANA was reballed to correct a E74
Three more people from Xbox Scene are sending their consoles to me. Let you know the results when those are done.

hey - offering details on some more Xbox 360 repair jobs
These are Xbox scene members that I have helped
DeVante - needed a GPU Reball for his jtagged system - Completed
effbee05 - also needed a GPU reball - plus a reflow was done to the CPU - Completed
albcool - another GPU reball - job was completed - But issues with a Nand flash are now giving the system and E79 - I DID NOT DO the NAND FLASH - that was prior to my work
youngD765 - needed a GPU reball - sadly, job couldn't be completed ... the CPU chip was fried
Currently doing a project for ShadowGuy ... he wants more RAM installed to his Jasper board

Console should ship tomorrow. Looking forward to getting an old Xenon JTAG working again.

Project for ShadowGuy is finished
I installed 4 Ram chips to the bottom of his Jasper board. He wants a Gig of Ram to his system
ShadowGuy will have to make some adjustment to his system on his end. Looks like the Nand/Cpu need to be acclimated to the new amount of available ram
Currently working on 3 other systems for two different Xbox scene members. Two are for Gpu reball. And one is for correcting a 0002
The 0002 is already done actually
wilgo45
Mar 24 2012, 12:16 AM
hey again
Those 3 other 360's that I previously mentioned - more Xbox scene members. Two belong to Jcb890 and one to ksuhumpy.
Jcb890 - had one system that was 0002 - and the other 0110
I have already repaired the 0002 situation. Currently working on the 0110
ksuhumpy - a 360 that needs a Gpu reballing and the Dvd drive thoroughly cleaned. I am part way thru this job

A way to cut down the expense of shipping.
Only applies to those who are comfortable with opening and taking apart their 360.
For repairs dealing with reballing, reflowing or component replacement on the motherboard - One only has to send the motherboard.
I have all the side devices for checking to see if repair is complete. So this can greatly cut down the weight that is being shipped.
The entire 360 without hard drive and cords weighs just under 8 pounds. The 360 motherboard itself just weighs under 1 pound. When it comes to Parcel shipping or UPS Ground - weight is everything
1 pound from Boston to Iowa is $5.50 in the Postal system
Or 3 or 4 - 360 motherboards could be sent by Medium Flat Rate Priority for 11.35
If you decide on just shipping the motherboard; you're going to need to protect it. Bubble wrap .... ship it within its stock cage ... just something. Package handlers aren't always careful
If you have questions - just pm me

Will did a GPU reflow for me on my JTAG'ed Xenon.
The system works great now.
I also wanted to say that Will kept in constant contact (moreso than anyone else I've ever done business with online) and is very friendly!
He even did a lot of extra work that I didn't pay for and offered me freebies when he definitely did not have to!
Out of all the people I was considering for for the job, I'm glad I chose him and won't think twice about him if I ever need work done again.
Wish I could buy the guy a beer!

Completed a repair for Jcb890. It was a 0002 - now good. Guess that was old news
Jcb890 has another that is 0110 - and its been more challenging than usual.
Will be tackling an E76 for dopesun - here any day now. Its on route
Some updates on shipping options. If you buy postage online from the Usps, thru the Click N Ship ... You can get two day Priority shipping on a Medium Flat Rate box for 10.85 ... And it will include Tracking for free
Definitely a way to save a few dollars with shipping
So - does anyone have any questions ?

The E76 for dopesun is now repaired
I replaced his ICS ethernet controller chip. Process went very smooth

Hey, Do you fix e71 Xbox 360? if so, I have one that needs repair.
wilgo45
Apr 24 2012, 11:51 AM
dopesun had sent me three consoles
one with a E76 ... one with a E74 ... and one with a E79
The E76 fixed
The E74 fixed
The E79 - has a deep scratch running parallel to the Nand chip. Nailing several traces. Probably nothing I can do there

A bump and some info
Going to provide some info - on a negative slant. But just being truthful; providing some disclosure
Looks like I might have failed two Xbox Scene members in repairs. I don't remember their screen names right off hand. Both named Jake - funny enough. Jake B and Jake T
With Jake B - he sent me two consoles. Only one has been repaired so far.
With Jake T - still trying but it doesn't look good
These should have been textbook reball repairs. But something didn't pan out. There could have been prior repair attempts from other people; that might have affected the chances of completion. Uncertain why there is a failure

Some Positive Work Results
Did a Reball on a Gpu chip for a Laptop. The chip was an AMD Radeon. The laptop - a Toshiba L505D. And this job was for an Xbox-Scene member.

Going to see if they might leave some comments about this job; here in this topic
They did final assembly ... And said that its working great now

Unbelievable work done by WilGot45. Had a Toshiba L505D Laptop with a GPU issue, very similar to the XBOX360 RROD. WilGot45 never hesitated about my special request, actually he was more excited to get it fix than I am. Communication was kept very constant, actually too constant, he was kinda annoying.. lol Jk jk. Once he special ordered the stencil for my application, he took the time to masked everything off and started the reball.
The item was done the next day when he received the stencil and mailed out. I finally had the chance to assemble my laptop together and its working perfectly. Work was done very professionally.
Thank you WilGot45. I finally found a person I can really trust to get reball dones on xbox360s and also special requests.

I see - ISkate0I - has already posted comments. Which was very cool of him
I was going to comment on the repair work done to his system.
Both his Gpu and Cpu had to be lifted and reballed. They got distorted by the use of a hardware store heatgun. The chips luckily didn't sustain damage, but the pins got way distorted. - That part was corrected
He had also lost some ceramic capacitors from the bottom side of the board. Sort of underneath the Southbridge chip. Five caps in all. And in three locations he had lost some connection pads to the board routes. At two spots the connection pads were intact, so I was able to replace those surface mount caps.
Heatgun might have been responsible for the lost of those Caps too. Heatguns don't do you any favors Ladies and Gentlemen. Just say no
At one point his ejection button for the dvd drive had been replaced. This being the small button assembly that is soldered to the motherboard. The solder joints were real ugly. Cold soldered and clunky. Got those straightened out.
25 watt soldering irons won't cut with the 360. Irons got to be hotter than that. Plus there are better, special tips
Lastly - I replaced his center LED on his Ring of Lights board. The one that was on there was completely blown. It's just me, but I like seeing that center light on when you power up.

Just recently, I failed on a repair for an Xbox Scene member:
That person is stoopidmnkey
He had a 0102 error to his console. A basic text book reball should have corrected things.
Ended up - just ruined. For the most part, I blame my IR machine. Chinese hunk of crap
So at this time, I am suspending my work on bga chip repairs. Got to get this situation squared away
