hi again members , i have an interesting question ...............


I would like to use a xk3y without a DVD Drive connected to the xk3y is this possible ?

Of course the xk3y will have necessary Firmware on the micro SD Card , i just want to run the xk3y system without a DVD Drive in the 360.

I am going to be self cutting holes in my 360 Shell and attaching Fans on the Shell example is below. As you can see i plan on 2 Fans but if i have to have a DVD Drive in the 360 while the xk3y is operating i will then only cut 1 hole.


any tips and info helps

This isn't exactly the answer you're looking for - but you could just pop the board out of the drive, mask it off, and put it somewhere in the case where it won't interfere with your mod.

I got info over at ' x360key Forums ' that i can run a xk3y without a DVD Drive attached so this is great news.

lol i gave him the info on the xkey forums.its interesting to see how many people use both forums.
