I know the maximum partition size for a Xbox HDD is 1TB & I know you can put a 2TB HDD as your main hard drive using a PATA to SATA converter with partitions F & G each being 1TB. Could you then also remove and spoof the DVD drive and replace it with a 1TB HDD for a total of 3 TB? Has anyone done this? The guide in the following link claims you can remove a DVD drive and replace it with a second HDD (http://forums.modretro.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=589). I'm considering doing this in order to have every decent Xbox game on 1 Xbox (I own 3 Xboxes so I could still use the other ones to copy games and whatever else I might want to do with a disc drive).

I don't think you can do that. I think you need a switch or something. Someone will correct me tongue.gif

You can under xbox linux, but not with an xbox bios. You would have to mod the bios quite heavily.

Or switch them with hardware (a switch).
