Hi all! I have a problem with a modified LG GDR 8163B. I connect all cables via tutorial

and flash my DVD with "8050L Flasher FIXED Menu".
Now the LED on DVD is still on, only when the disc is inside it turn off. Is it normal?
But this isn't so important problem.
The bigger issue is, that when the disc is inside, it is spinning all the time! And the lens is working all the time! Even when i don't use DVD and play with HDD. Is it normal with this drive after flashing?

DVD works OK, it opens, and close, disc are visible without restart. Please help.

Yes the LED activity is inverted once the firmware is flashed, meaning it is always on, and blinks off when accessing instead of always off until assessing.

As for the disc spinning all the time, I can remember if that is normal as it has been awhile since I modded one of those. If it works OK, I wouldn't worry about it unless the drive fails to spin down the disc when you eject. That could become a problem.

But it is annoying to hear the noise of turning disc when i don't use it... And the lens I think will quickly break in this situation. Have anyone the original firmware of this LG GDR 8163B?
