Hi Guys

Ive jtagged a good few consoles & all went well with everyone of them. Until recently!! I done a Falcon & keep getting a really strange startup. (all dumps & writes went well)

When I power the console on it goes to startup but then 1 red light & E71 message.
If I power with the eject it boots to Xell perfect everytime.

So if I use the power on button it E71 error everytime but If I boot Xell 1st then turn of & power on the jtag boots up & works sweet. Never seen this before..

power on = E71
Eject = boot Xell let Xell sit for 30secs & turn of & power on the jtag boots with no E71

Any help is appreciated & I hope ive been clear about the way the error happens.

any bad blocks in nand dumps ?

Do you have anything connected to any of the usb ports?

No bad blocks - All dumped fine & nothing plugged into any USB ports!!.

Just today I made another Freeboot image (in case there was a problem i missed 1st time) flashed it on & its still the same

Did you figure out the cause?

I used 360 Multibuild & made a nand image in that with my original dump. flashed it through Xell & its working perfect now everytime. Boots striaght to the dash without the E71 error now Well pleased!!!
