I recently had my xbox freeze in the middle of an xbox live match. Iturned it off and turned it on, as i have done before when such happens. This time it will not get past the where the logo is loading. It freezes as the green stripes are swirling. All the soldering is good. I play it an average of 5 hours a day. I thought it had to do something with the heat, but no. No red dot or error. Seems like its a graphical error or a corrupt file. Its been opened, so not sure if I can send it in to MS. ANY IDEAS? I would like to fix it myself.

i have now booted the xbox without the 4GB of internal memory and w/o the 250GB HDD. Still freezes. Is this a sign of some sort file corruption? could put a new boot file in?

Soldering, so its RGH i assume, i had this problem with freezing to with my jasper, it could be that ur capacitors are to high in value? (don't really know much about it because a friend of mine did all the chipping and soldering)

boot it by hitting eject on the dvd drive.
sometimes when there is a bad disk in the drive it will hang on boot up.
if it is stock call ms and see what they can do for you.
