Hi,
my joystick is pretty broken and I should replace it. Found a couple of variants from some cheap chinese vendors:

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-repla...k-module-103078

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-xbox-...ck-green-107130

http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-repai...w-silver-107129

http://www.tinydeal.com/new-genuine-3d-ana...smqi1pju613ch92

Anyone tried any of these?

Or could you recommend me an eBay seller who sells quality joystick modules?

Oh, and what does this 3D mean?

------

Both also sell whole controllers, wireless and wired.. Anyone bought any of those? What do you think of 'em?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest to buy either the SKU 107130 or SKU 107129, with that order from DealExtreme. The 3D means that it can be pressed down for one extra function (I think).
Alternative if your soldering skills are not good enough, go for a refurbished controller and forget the old one smile.gif

Why exactly would you buy these and not the third one?

I don't think 3D means that, since they all have the microswitch needed for press function. Correct me if I'm wrong..

I'm actually refurbishing the controller I have tongue.gif Took it apart, cleaned it all the way.. but the left joystick seems to be dead any minute (the click-function already is).. gonna change the module and buy one extra controller. I don't want to spend too much because maybe the RROD fix I made will not last biggrin.gif

But I would still like to hear suggestions on the joystick module part..

Oh, thirdly, SKU 107129 seems to have a wrong-shaped "stick" - xbox joystick knobs wouldn't fit there..

The 70130 is the one I would choose to buy first. Your 3rd choice is too expensive and will do the same job. The other explanation for 3D (and that might explain the higher price), maybe is the latest version of the stick that raises up and give more "precision" to the gamer, but you need the paired chip controller on the controller's board to work. RDC can verify that?

Alright, took this one - http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-xbox-...ck-green-107130 - hope it's fine and more-or-less original-like.

Thank you for the suggestion!
