Getting Error.... can't update to new dashboard so can't play new game!

Had MS25 which bricked.. so spoof MS28 to MS 25 and played over 2 years now....

Now updated to LT plus 2.01 spoof with same key and changed to MS25..... still no luck....one red light comes and Error E66

Please tell me I still have hope....

don't spoof, drives are teh same, use the right firmware.

So u trying to say use ms28 firmware with ms 25 key?

Yes thats correct, once a MS25 is flashed it becomes an MS28. This is what the error code means.

E66: DVD Drive Error - Dvd drive pairing failure: DVD model, or version does not match that of the version expected by the dashboard. OR the firmware version on the drive is older then the firmware version expected by the dashboard. Make sure the DVD drive is of the same version originally included with the console and that it is using either the original firmware included with the console or newer. if drive can eject, read, and write under windows but errors on console, replacing original firmware should fix issue.

just reflash to original firmware, update dashboard, dump firmware again and reflash to 2.01 it will fix your problem. E66 because key position changed after dash update.

Thank You For all the replies.... I am going to let you know... When I patch the MS28 drive with orig MS28 firmware with the Key from MS25.... and try to update the dashboard.....

what ever the drive is, use that ofw. if the sticker says 25, use 25 firmware.

The Drive work and Updated to new dash! And I flashed to LT+ 2.01...
