So I downloaded the Slayer's disc (219MB) ISO and tried mounting it to Alcohol 120 to copy over the stock C files. However, when mounted, it can't be read.
I tried using ISObuster and again I can't read it.
I burnt it to CDR and it can't be read.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

You really don't need a separate thread for each step of your journey..... 
You open the iso with a dedicated Xiso tool like Qwix, because it's an Xbox iso not a standard PC iso. That's also why your PC can't read it when you've burned it.
