Here I how I built an extremely inexpensive molex power supply for my ck3i.

I went to a local thrift store and bought a wall powered 12v power cord for any random electronic, a usb charging cord for a car and a molex power cord (i got the cord off a power supply). All this cost me about $1.35.

I cut the end of the 12v cord off and took apart the car charger and detached input and output wires for the pcb.
then I soldered the + and - lines from the 12v cord to the corrasponding + and - input solder points on the pcb from the car charger. Next solder the yellow wire from the molex cable to the solder pad where you soldered your 12v power source and the 12v ground on the molex cable to the solder pad where you soldered your - line from your 12v cable to the pcb. Then solder the red wire on your molex power cord to the 5v output on your pcb and the 5v ground to your 5v ground on the pcb.

When it was finished i put it inside of a cheap plastic radio shack project box I had lying around.

Here are some pictures of it finished.
