Is it possible to replace a disc drive and not get banned from live? I have an old one but i believe i need to flash it to the correct version? If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I don't want to play burned games i just want a working drive. Thanks!

you need to purchase the same model dvd drive as a replacement and swap the pcb board inside so that the old dvd key remains; you avoid purchasing items you do not need
