sorry I don't know what the name for this mod is.. I know they sell controllers called afterglow so I guess its similar to that

how would I go about doing this? Will SMD leds work?
I have a CG2 wireless controller

leds

2 are installed into the rumble pack spot. remove the rumble pack pins and solder an led in there. then put the rumble motor to the end of the led pin..

The rest are prolly hot glued in place...

not quite sure I understand correctly

is there a more detailed tutorial for doing something like this? also wont soldering led's to the rumble only activate when the controller vibrates?

sorry your right.. it will work through rumbles that way.. but..

go to niktronix those are the leds i linked you to. all the tuts u need to install leds are there. then use the search feature. cause no one is gonna spoon feed you in any forum...
