I searched but couldn't find anything similar to this problem. I have a slim that I have just rgh'ed. -Almost.
I used J-Runner to dump the nand twice, Confirmed that the matched and then I created ECC image. I wrote ECC to the Nand and programmed/ installed my Coolrunner rev. b. The machine glitches into Xell but hangs at the portion of the program which checks for usb devices. Onscreen says that there is a new usb device connected but really, there is nothing plugged in.
Has this been an issue for anyone in the past?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I had that happen on a phat xenon once, after close inspection it ended up being a missing/broken surface mount component, be damned if i remember where it was so long ago. Begin there, look for missing components
or shorts somewhere.
