I am using pioneer dvr-105. Xbox is v1.1 with phillips drive.
I've tried the dvd-rw (with the burner) and khypermedia dvd-r.
So far nothing worked, though cd-rw does work on my xbox.

Can someone tell me what brand media (dvd-rw, dvd-r) to use
in my setting?

Philips doesn't read dvd-rw's.

I use:

Traxdata cd's (gold bottom), these work perfect.

Memorex cdrw's

ritek dvdr work fine.
