yes and no. the drives needed for burner max have to be the b rev drives there is a new c rev that is out and the b rev drives are drying up. you are not guaranteed a b rev drive from newegg or any only retailer for that matter. hope that gives you the info you where looking for.

if you order a 124 from newegg you WILL get a c. if you order one of the less popular variates (424 for example) you possibly will get a b.
